A UH-1 helicopter is equipped with a new night illumination unit known as Fire Fly. The unit consists of three 6,000 watt Xenon lamps powered by a turbine engine and placed in the rear compartment of the helicopter. Major Ira C. Anderson is seen standing beside the Fire Fly unit.
