Blue and white stem cup, China, 1465-1487. Ming dynasty cup with blue tinged glaze, decorated with a bird on a branch above a pale blue line. The interior has a Chinese character (word) enclosed in double blue lines. The tall stem is flared at the base with a raised band near the top.
