YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 14, 2017) - Culinary Specialist 3rd Class Steven Lisser, attached to the 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), fights off a simulated attacker after being sprayed with oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray as part of Security Reaction Force Basic training. Blue Ridge is in an extensive maintenance period in order to modernize the ship to continue to serve as a robust communications platform in the 7th Fleet area of operations.
