Beishan Hill is located just to the north of Hangzhou's West Lake. It is a popular spot for hiking and a serves as the ideal escape from the crowds of tourists around the lake below. There is also much Chinese-style architecture to be seen, such as this traditional archway along one of the hill's paths.
