There was also on exhibition amodel of a reversible seat fixture for open cars. Most reversiblebacks have the rubber tips, which strike against the seat. Theobjection to this arrangement is that, being on top of the back ofthe seat, mischievous passengers can cut off the rubber or mutilateit until it is useless.
