The Jungle in Calais has been officially declared empty and closed by the Prefect of the department Pas-de-Calais, despite several hundred refugees, especially unaccompanied minors still in the camp. A huge number of huts and shops has been burnt down deliberately during the day, while more tents and huts have been demolished by workmen.
