748 cc 56 hp top speed 125 mph In 1971 Ducati created a 750 cc V twin engine with an L shaped configuration Two specially prepared version of this bike caused a huge racing upset when they finished first and second in the international Imola in 1972 The company then sold replicas of the Imola machines as the 750SS or Supersoport Only 450 were built of which 120 are known to survive
