02/10/22 Commission MccLi0001012 Assigned Mokes are hand-built at the company’s Northamptonshire facility near Brixworth. Moke International, owner of the original 1964 Moke trademark, has become the first heritage automotive brand to go 100% electric. Post Brexit, it moved production to the UK from France where it is set to build over a thousand EVs in the next 12 months. Sales into the EU will be tariff-free. It will launch in the USA later this month and is currently subject to a takeover bid from EV Technology Group. The electric Moke has a 33 kWh battery, which can be charged in four hours, has a range of 80 miles, a top speed of 50mph and costs £29,150 (not including local taxes or electric vehicle incentives).
