Dudhsagar Waterfalls Goa India Asia

Waterfalls at DUDHSAGAR, on the Western Ghats, exactly at Goa-Karnataka border, are some of the highest in India (600m from head to foot). After pouring across the Deccan plateau, the monsoon swollen headwaters of the Mandovi River form a foaming torrent that cascades down a near-vertical cliff face into a deep green pool. The Konkani name for the falls, literally translated means "sea of milk". Goa, India, Asia.
