Anti-fracking protesters held a "Belt It Out In Trafalagar Square" event where through music, song and poetry they demonstrated against fracking. They were joined by the adjacent Rosia Montana protesters who are demonstrating against a vast gold mine being opened up in Romania, and against oil company Chevron's recent signing of a 35 year oil exploration contract in Romania.
