Army Sgt. Francisco Aguiar, a wheeled vehicle mechanic with 6th Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, looks to the crowd after submitting his opponent on day 2 of the 2022 All Army Combatives Championship, Lacerda Cup, at Fort Benning, Georgia, April 6. The combatives competition is named in honor of the late Staff. Sgt. Pedro Lacerda of the 75th Ranger Regiment, and recognizes outstanding performance in hand-to-hand fighting skills known in the Army as combatives.
