Soldiers from Company B, 3rd General Support Aviation Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade based out of Fort Drum, , land a Chinook at Ventspils airport for a static display to celebrate the airport opening. In addition to the Army Chinook were a Latvian air force search and rescue helicopter and numerous civilian small aircraft. Participation in community relations events

In addition to the Army Chinook were a Latvian air force search and rescue helicopter and numerous civilian small aircraft. Participation in community relations events like this serve to help the community understand and demonstrates 10th CAB's preparedness to lead and provide aviation support to regional and global military forces at a moment's notice in support of NATO interests as a part of Operation Atlantic Resolve. Operation Atlantic Resolve is a led effort in Eastern Europe that demonstrates commitment to the collective security of NATO and dedication to enduring peace and stability in the region.
