The extraordinarymemory and intelligent suggestions of ProfessorWilham Magennis have been of especial value tome. And I have tested the worth of friendshipby last winter getting a poisonous attack of com-municable influenza and lavishly distributing it tomy visitors, but they generously forgave me. Iwas rather ill for some weeks, and found it possibleto do without a nurse, from the constant care andattention which was ungrudgingly given me in theShelbourne Hotel. When I go away from IrelandI shall be sorry to say good-bye, and it will warmmy heart to return again to these kindly peopleand green shores. But—who knows—perhaps Ishall not say good-bye!
