Airman 1st Class Christopher W. Smith, 36 Communications Squadron, and Senior Airman Brando T. Johnson, 644 Combat Communications Squadron, finish deploying a Land Radar System to allow long-range communication from the joint field office on Saipan supporting CNMI Civil Authorities, FEMA, and the Military with operations in the CNMI, Nov. 2, 2018. Service Members from Joint Region Marianas and Indo-Pacific Command are providing Department of Defense support to the CNMI’s civil and local officials as part of the FEMA-supported Super Typhoon Yutu recovery effort.
