CAMP ARIFJAN, Kuwait – Spc. Ian Stewart with Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 28th Infantry Division finishes his final lap as his grader prepares to record his time. The swim is the first event towards earning the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge and must be completed in less than four minutes. Following timed laps, competitors must demonstrate the ability to remove their uniform in deep water without support.
