Riverdance, Freight Ferry aground on the beach at Cleveleys, Lancashire.

Riverdance, the freight ferry that was hit by a freak wave while crossing the Irish Sea from Belfast to Heysham and was washed ashore at Cleveleys where it is seen with a 60 degree list. The tide is just coming in so the ferry is in shallow calm water in this photograph. This photo shows the front part of the ship with a few seagulls on the incoming tide to the left and in front of the ship.
