W. N. C. PROVIDENCE. The Market. The market has dropped slightly dur- ing tlie week, although prices still hold up well and there is a more settled con- dition. The demand is still apace with the supply and stock of all grades every day witnesses a clean-up. Funeral work continues active, for which there is an increasing call for artificial stuff. There was considerable call for cut flowers last week,which was one of social gayety unprecedented for these dull times. Roses and carnation
