Biloxi, MS, Aril 2, 2015 - Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum, Biloxi, Mississippi. Established in 1986 to reserve and interpret the maritime history and heritage of Biloxi and the Mississippi Gulf Coast, the Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum was originally located in a nearby Coast Guard Station which was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum heralded the opening of its new facility on August 2, 2014. The construction of the new museum building received Public Assistance funding from FEMA.
