Cracow Poland

The Judengasse or Jewish Ghetto area in Crakow was a traditional Jewish urban area which in the Second World War was used as a place of containment by the Nazi invaders who then despatched most of the Jewish people to concentration camps. There are memorials to the former inhabitants who perished, in the streets of the old ghetto.
