Edinburgh, Scotland. Tue 20 August 2024. Swiss Portrait performing at iconic Scottish music venue Sneaky Pete’s as part of their Central Belters programme during the 2024 Edinburgh Festivals. Swiss Portrait is the project of Edinburgh-based multi-instrumentalist and conceptual artist Michael Kay Terence. Using a DIY approach, Michael records and produces all his music in his tiny spare room outside of Edinburgh and released their album ‘The Crippling Pain of Happiness’ in 2023. 2024 has seen them release the singles ‘Photobooth’, ‘Worries’, ‘Dust’ and ‘Talk’.
