Deep Ellum grows on you!! It is one of the first places new bands play. Entertainment music venue began with Blind Lemon Jefferson more than 100 years ago writing and playing Them Uber's new digs are in Deep Ellum. The flying taxi landing at heliports is not that far away and once again, Deep Ellum is on the pioneering center of technology. A former lodge of Dallas' Black Professionals, later to become Union Bank, is now undergoing a full restoration and is Uber's next door neighbor.
