Field marshal shoulder boards for the uniform of a Colonel Proprietor, probably of the Russian Kexholmski Foot Guard Regiment. The shoulder boards with applied silver coloured, partially gold plated and enamelled crossed marshal's batons on gold lace (slightly darkened), red cloth backing, black tongue. Golden double eagle buttons. The shoulder boards at hand supposedly belonged to Kaiser Franz Joseph I of Austria (1830 - 1916).
