Four week old Highland Bull Calf, Prospero, grazes alongside his mother Anna-belle at Wicken Fen nature reserve in Cambridgeshire. Born on the morning of New Year's Day Prospero was seen staying close to his mum as he ventured out with the herd. Highland cattle were introduced at Wicken Fen in 2005 to keep the landscape open and help wetland and grassland plants to thrive. Three females were introduced to the herd last year to increase herd diversity and Prospero is the first calf to be born this year.
