Records for the Atlantic include: New England, Buzzards Bay and Vineyard Sound (Cushman, 1944); Martha's Vineyard (Todd & Low, 1961). It has also been recorded from the Late Glacial and Holocene of the Oslofjord area (Feyling-Hanssen, 1964) and from off the coast of Argentina (Boltovskoy & Boltovskoy, 1968).
