OLD JIM AND THE HEN Daniel was a little boy, he had a nicelittle sister, three years older than he was ;but she was not too old to play with him. One day, after there had been a greatsnow-storm, and the wind had piled thesnow up in great banks, against the high stone wallout by the old barn, Daniel and his little sister wentout to the snow-drifts, to slide down and make a nicehouse in the snow.
