UN peacekeepers distribute emergency food to Haitians in Gonaives after three hurricanes struck in August 2008.
Three hurricanes and a tropical storm started affecting the Caribbean on the 15th August 2008 Gustav Hannah Ike and tropical storm Fay calimed over 400 lives and affected over 2 8 million people The most destruction was in Haiti and especially the town of Gonaives where 3m of water flooded the city of 300 000 and left the town cut off from the rest of the country
