The Exedra eyecatcher at Rococo gardens at Painswick in the Cotwolds, Gloucestershire England UK

The Rococo Gardens consist of a 6 acre garden in a quiet Cotswold valley with views of the surrounding countryside. It is a unique example of a brief but flamboyant period of English Design based on the Rococo style. The garden became disused, overgrown and abandoned in the twentieth century but, when it's historic and architectural value became apparent a restoration project which was both ambitious and ongoing was begun.
