Greg Reich, a research team lead with the Aerospace Systems Directorate at the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, displays a 3-D printed morphing wing in which the control surface joint is printed into the wing instead being a collection of parts that must be designed procured and installed.
