Scarlet.—First, Cottage Gardens Co., with Beacon; second, J. D. Cockcroft, with Victory. Crimson.—First, Cottage Gardens with Creole Beauty; second, J. D. Cock- croft, with Harvard. Variegated.—First, J. D. Cockcroft, with Mrs. Patten. Any other color.—First, J. D. Cock- croft; second, Adolph Alius. J. D. Cockcroft took first prize for his seedling No. 50: Adolph Alius was first in classes 9 and 10, and Richard Cart- wright was first in class 11. Plants.—First, .Adolph Alius, with spe- cimen cyclamen; second, Richard Cart- wright, with an azalea. Palm or fern.—First, H. T. and A. H.
