We want healthful surroundings andliving conditions for the workers, not only in theworkshops, but in the homes where the wives andchildren can enjoy good conditions, too. We want sufficient wages to clothe, feed, educate and raisethe children as American citizens should be friends, the wage earners, men and women, havebeen neglected in the mad rush to build up large.
