The self-proclaimed 'Witchfinder General', Matthew Hopkins with two of his female vistims. The woman to the right is Elizabeth Clark, naming her imps, or familiars, which Hopkins claimed, under oath, he had seen in her cell. Clark was hanged on this evidence.
