A late 19th century illustration of the Arros river rises in the Baronnies of Pyrenees, southeast of Bagnères-de-Bigorre and flows north through a narrow valley joining the Adour before it turn west, upstream from Riscle. It is located in the Hautes-Pyrénées department, in the Occitanie region of France.
