The Hall was partlybuilt by Sir John Legard, but was finished by Colonel Bolton ; and all the pleasingadjuncts to this delightful residence were planned and executed by the latter gentleman. Colonel Bolton was the intimate friend of the Right Hon. George Canning, and alsoof the Right Hon. William Huskisson ; and to the hospitable mansion of Storrs thesestatesmen frequently retired, to recreate both body and mind, after the severe andharassing occupations of a parliamentary ? ;.%,
