Virtual reality archaeology. Researcher using virtual reality goggles to view a Roman coin recovered from an archaeological site. The coin is being viewed on the Hemicyclia, which consists of a large screen that allows the researcher to examine a greatly magnified view of the coin. This work is being carried out at LABRI (Laboratoire Bordelais de Recherche en Informatique), the data processing research laboratory at the University of Bordeaux, France.
