Chestnut festival madeira number 3523
On the island of madeira in the village of Curral Das Freiras there is a chestnut festival once a year where the locals celebrate the chestnut and all the products they make from it including cakes, biscuits, wines, liqueurs, sweets etc. The stalls or booths are decorated with chestnut leaves and branches.
