HAKODATE, Japan (Oct. 7, 2022) Members of the Hakodate America-Japan Society tour the aft missile deck aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65) during the ship’s scheduled port visit, Oct. 7. Benfold is assigned to Commander, Task Force 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
