Hundreds of New Yorkers gathered at Grand Central Station in solidarity with the indigenous and non-indigenous allies who are on the frontlines in North Dakota fighting the construction of the billion dollar Dakota Access Pipeline. Last week, law enforcement brutalized the peaceful protesters, which has caused outrage across the globe. The march today eventually left one of NYCs busiest commuter hubs and took their banners, chats and vigor to the streets of Manhattan, where they infiltrated two of the banks who are funding the pipeline, Bank of America and JP Morgan.
