In the triangular field of service of the Korean War Veterans Memorial, located on the National Mall near the west end of the Reflecting Pool, 19 stainless steel statues depict a squad on patrol heading for the American flag. The figures represent members of the Air Force, Army, Marines, and Navy from a variety of ethnic backgrounds.
