Sailors and Coast Guardsmen participated in a joint-service reenlistment and promotion ceremony at the 9/11 Memorial Plaza, May 26, 2017. One World Trade Center, also known as Freedom Tower, is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere and was built in 2014 to commemorate the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Arlington, Va.
