New chimney pots for Uppark House, a 17th century National Trust house near South Harting , West Sussex , ravaged by fire in 1989. It took six years to rebuild Uppark but the new roof was completed in 1991 and getting the chimney pots ready to go up was obviously a bit of a milestone. 7 March 1991 Picture by Roger Bamber
