Flowers orange scarlet overlaid with salmon. 53^ feet. Alphonse Bouvier—One of the freest blooming Cannas. On good soil grows 5 to 6 feet high and throws out numerous flower stalks crowned with immense heads of rich crimson bloom. Alsace—The nearest ap- proach to a white Canna. Flowers at first opening are light sulphur yellow, changing to creamy white. An excellent free flowering variety. About 4y2 feet. 15c. Beauty Poitevine—A fine bedding Canna; bright rich crimson, one of the most free blooming; stands drought and heat better than most any other Canna; V/2 feet. Chicago — Clear vermilion scarlet; flowers large and nearly flat, forming large heads of bloom. 4*^ feet. Col. Dodds—A free vigorous grower, foli- age deep green veined and lightly mar- bled chocolate. Flowers rich velvety red. Grows 4 feet. Ed.
