The RAF Typhoon emerges from smoke RAF FAIRFORD, ENGLAND IN HEART-RACING images captured yesterday Sunday 16th July show WW2 aircraft and more modern UK fighter jets shooting through the show the RAF Typhoon, Lancaster Bomber and French Rafale showing off their incredible aerial acrobatics despite a bombarding of rain. These images were captured by Dispatch Controller James Poole (27) from Wolverhampton, England on July 16th 2023. James captured the images at Royal International Air Tattoo located at RAF Fairford, England on his Canon R7 with a 100-400mm RF lens. The planes each represent a country and show the elite air squad of their home countries. ?RAF Typhoon display team replicates the air power provided by the United Kingdom and shows the raw power and agility of the Euro fighter typhoon,? said James. ?The French Rafale was sent to the air show by the French air and space force, again showing its capabilities during its flying display. ?The Avro Lancaster Bomber which is the main part of the Battle of Britain memorial flight, sadly there was no supporting aircraft for its display which meant the Lancaster displayed alone. ?The conditions weren?t the best as we had rain spells throughout the day which made the lighting a challenge but I was excited to get home knowing I?d capture some brilliant ENDS
