It is a swing motion truck pure and frame is made of soft steel with the exception of the pedestals,which are of malleable iron with a tensile strength of 77,000 lbs. to the square inch. Full elliptic springs are used under the truckbolster, and coil springs on each side of the journal box in the pedestals.
