Sonning Bridge on the River Thames linking Oxfordshire and Berkshire England UK - built in brick in 1775 it replaced an early wooden bridge built around 1530. Dick Turpin the Highwayman is reputed to have escaped across this bridge to escape pursuit around 1735. THe Chilterns was noted for its highwayment. This is one of only three bridges in 15 miles along the Thames near Reading
