Tanks over a wide trench, and (b) Some very simple dodge by which we may be able to put on the unditching gear fromthe inside of the Tank. We are trying a hook which is placed on a ring fixedeither to a spud or to a track link between two woodenspuds. This hook is put on by hand through the aper-ture in the manhole, which we have enlarged to thebreadth of the machine for the purpose.
