Vicolo Scanderbeg in the Trevi district in Rome, takes its name from the building that the Albanian prince Giorgio Castriota known as "Scanderbeg" had built in Piazza Scanderbeg (at number 117) when he came to Rome in 1466 to ask for help from Pope Paul II in favor of the Albanian Christian people fighting against the Turks.
