SEA (June 6, 2018) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Bainbridge (DDG 96) and the Royal Navy’s Duke-class frigate HMS Monmouth (F 235) approach the German Berlin-class replenishment ship Frankfurt am Main (A 1412) for refueling during exercise Baltic Operations (BALTOPS) 2018. BALTOPS is the premier annual maritime-focused exercise in the Baltic Region and one of the largest exercises in Northern Europe that is designed to enhancing flexibility and interoperability among allied and partner nations.
