He was attached to the FirstDay Bombardment Group, and it waswhile on that duty near Peirrepcnt thathe was killed piloting a plane in a combatbetween two American bombing planesand seven German one-seated battleplanes. The four occupants of theAmerican planes, Lieutenants Taylor,Matthews, Harris and Forbes, were all in-stantly killed and buried together in aGerman military cemetery near , Mr. and Mrs. A. B. B. Harris, Park 2nd Lt. DAVID B. HARRIS. BORN AUGUST 25). 1896DIED SEPTEMBER 26. 1918 Lieutenant Harris was unmarried. HisRow, Chicago, III., survive him. Lieute par-nant Harris was a grandson of General D. B.
