The roaddescends steeply through forest coun-try, crosses the Tyers River, and thencontinues on to join the Tanjil BrenForest Road. Knowing that the area had beenburnt twelve months ago, Mr. JimPeterson and I, both members of theLatrobe Valley Field Naturalists Club,decided that we should examine thearea. We spent most of Saturday 19thOctober there. Our first discovery was the TuftedLily (Sowerbaea junca).
