180417-N-YJ378-0003 PACIFIC OCEAN (April 17, 2018) Sailors assigned to San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23), and inspectors from the Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV), observe the San Diego-Coronado Bridge while Anchorage transits the San Diego Bay. Anchorage is underway with INSURV, which conducts material inspections of all naval ships at least once every five years, for the purpose of determining and reporting upon a ship’s fitness for further service.
